Annotation: The territory of Uzbekistan has long been a crossroads for cultural, trade, and religious exchanges. In particular, as an important part of the Great Silk Road, this region witnessed the introduction of religions such as Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, and Manichaeism at different times. This article discusses the arrival, development, and legacy of Buddhism in Uzbekistan.
