Annotation: In the course of this research, the lexical-semantic features of Uzbek names were analyzed. It is known that every born person first receives an official individual nominative sign - a personal name. Among different peoples, customs and traditions related to the naming of a person and giving names have always been unique. In this sense, personal names first become the object of attention of philosophers, and then of linguists.
