Annotation: In the article, the author considers the issues of legislative regulation of the main prohibitions (restrictions) of punishment in the form of restriction of freedom. The shortcomings of the legislative regulation of the main prohibitions (restrictions) are analyzed punishments in the form of restriction of freedom. In this regard, the legislation of foreign countries, the opinions of scientists and specialists have been studied, proposals have been made to improve the norms governing the main prohibitions (restrictions) of punishment in the form of restriction of freedom.
