Annotation: Today, in the context of the rapid development of modern technologies and artificial intelligence, there is an objective need for legal regulation of issues related to artworks created by artificial intelligence. In particular, the issues of determining the author of such objects, as well as compliance with the criteria for the protection of copyright objects, are of particular importance. However, current trends in the development of copyright indicate that at the moment there are some problems with the development of mechanisms for the legal protection of artworks generated by artificial intelligence. Based on these problems, the author analyzed various legal systems and made proposals for the introduction of a sui generis regime for the protection of objects generated by computer technologies.
