Annotation: By the end of the 20th - beginning of the 21st centuries, Afghanistan had become one of the most dysfunctional states in the East. In a historically short period, a series of coups d'état took place here, aggravated by ethnopolitical conflicts, civil war and large-scale external intervention. The conflict in Afghanistan has not been resolved for decades, despite the active participation of the international community in its settlement. It seems relevant to analyze mainly the international aspects of its settlement.
