Annotation: The article explores the use of mediation as an alternative method for resolving sports disputes. It analyzes international practices in the field, including the role of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and national mediation centers. Particular attention is given to the potential benefits of introducing mediation in Uzbekistan, within the context of developing sports law and reducing the burden on the judicial system. The article justifies the need for legal regulation of mediation in sports relations and for the training of professional mediators with expertise in the sports sector.
