Annotation: This article examines the sociolinguistic characteristics of forms of address in Uzbek and Russian. The author analyzes how forms of address function not only at the grammatical level but also in the context of speech etiquette, cultural traditions, and psychological and social factors. Particular attention is paid to the influence of the Russian language on the system of address in Uzbek speech, as well as the emergence of new forms of address, formalized and devoid of traditional socio-cultural connotations. The necessity of scientific systematization of equivalents of addresses in various spheres of communication (family, professional, educational, everyday) is substantiated in order to increase the effectiveness of interlingual communication and language learning.
