Annotation: This article provides information on the distribution of atmospheric precipitation in the Kashkadarya region, the trends in the flow of small rivers and their discharges over the years, and the reforms being carried out to reduce water shortages. In addition, the authors suggest the implementation of economical irrigation technologies in residential plots along with the collection of rainwater, taking into account the specific conditions of the region, in order to alleviate the water shortage, and the tasks that must be performed for its implementation are given.
