Annotation: The article notes that the need for land for various sectors of the national economy is increasing every year. In addition, it has been studied and determined that the growth of this process is disproportionate to population growth. In this regard, the issue of enhancing the use of land resources in both urban and rural settlements is especially relevant. It is concluded that it is necessary to determine their resource potential not by increasing the amount of withdrawn land, but by more efficient and rational use of available territories.
