Annotation: The article examines the role of ornamental green spaces in improving the living conditions of city residents, providing them with recreation, improving the sanitary condition of the city, creating a microclimate, expanding the area of health green spaces, enriching the composition of ornamental tree and shrub species used for landscaping, the ornamental properties of black mulberry “Pendula”, its biological indicators, and its importance in populated areas. At the same time, information is provided on agrotechnical methods of vegetative propagation of black mulberry “Pendula”.
