Annotation: The article provides real data on the technical readiness coefficient of a motor vehicle enterprise. The reasons for the fact that the value of this information is very low are indicated. As the main reasons for the decrease in the technical readiness coefficient of the auto plant, the severity of the operating conditions is given by the fact that most cars are 10-15 years old and even more, lack of a production technical base, constant lack of necessary spare parts, tires and accumulator batteries. Recommendations are given for the rental operation of the enterprise.
