Annotation: During the study, the types of leadership styles used in organizations of Uzbekistan and the degree of their distribution were determined. Transformational, democratic, authoritarian, transactional, servant, and mixed leadership styles were researched to show their prevalence in a variety of areas (Public Administration, Business, Education, Health, Manufacturing). The results of the study showed that authoritarian (32.2%) and Democratic (29.0%) leadership styles were the most common, but in terms of efficiency, transformational and servant leadership styles were found to prevail. Based on the results of the study, a methodology for the formation of an effective leadership style was developed. This methodology consists of the stages of diagnostics, goal setting, formation, introduction and improvement of the leadership style and is intended for organizations of Uzbekistan.
