Annotation: This article analyzes the problem of cultural identity and identity in the digital space. As a result of globalization and the rapid development of information and communication technologies, we can see that human socialization, the process of self-awareness, and the concept of cultural belonging are radically changing. The Internet, social networks, virtual communities, and digital platforms are creating new forms of personal identification. The article scientifically analyzes the phenomenon of multilayered identity, "virtual identity", and the conflicts between traditional and digital culture that are being formed in the digital environment. As a result of the research, the digital space and the digital environment are evaluated as a factor transforming the cultural identity of a person.
