Annotation: The Seleucid and Greco-Bactrian kingdoms are of particular importance in the study of the political system of the processes of formation of ancient statehood in Central Asia. Therefore, the history of the Seleucid kingdom and the Greco-Bactrian states is important not only for scientific research of the past, but also for understanding the processes of modern state administration, culture and economy. Today, the study of the historiography of this period is one of the most urgent issues.
