Annotation: Uzbekistan is considered a country that brought up scholars, poets, and taught science and art and presented it to the world. The society that has existed for thousands of years has not been without an educational system in any way. Its characteristics, institutions, educational program, training manuals and textbooks, laws and regulations of the study process, teachers, teachers and their requirements, teaching methodology, student examination, certification of teachers-teachers, their material and moral encouragement. There were a number of issues. In this article, the root of Samarkand State University - Ulugbek madrasa, and the history of madrasas in Samarkand are discussed. In addition, it contains information about the teachers who worked in these madrasahs and famous people who studied there.
