Annotation: Today, the high level of development of techniques and technologies leads to an increase in the demand for the consumption of metals. The continuous increase in the production of heavy non-ferrous metals has led to an increase in the consumption of man-made waste, which is not only a source of additional production of metals, but also a factor in reducing the cost of finished products is also being considered. The technologies used are characterized by high irreversible losses of metal due to the emission of waste, slag, environmentally harmful gases and dust into the atmosphere. Several modern methods of separating heavy non-ferrous metals from wastewater are considered in the article.
