Annotation: This article explores the semantic and pragmatic analysis of the Japanese verbal constructions 気にする and 気になる, comparing them with their possible equivalents in the Uzbek language. The study focuses on identifying nuanced meanings, the degree of emotional intentionality, and cultural-pragmatic factors that influence their usage. The results show that the Uzbek language lacks direct equivalents, and translation often requires contextual adaptation. These findings are significant for developing bilingual dictionaries, translation practices, and educational materials in Japanese language instruction for Uzbek-speaking learners.
