Annotation: In the article the results of mathematical modeling of the movement of the carriage with the slowdown on the part of the first hump in the brake position when exposed to the oncoming wind. First analytical formula to determine the speed and the way the braking of the car on the plot of the first brake yard. Built graphics based on the speed and path of the deceleration time. Based on the analysis of the constructed graphical dependencies established that the movement of the carriage with the slowdown on the part of the first hump brake position mainly depends on the strength of the resistance that occurs at the work site car retarder.
