Annotation: In this article, the problem of the initiation of the flow of liquid under the influence of wind waves, which occurs as a result of the influence of wind waves on the unidirectional flow in a channel with a grunt bed, is considered. A curve representing the beginning of the discharge movement under the influence of wind waves, similar to the known Shields diagram, was constructed and compared with the author's curves, and the analysis result of its regression analysis showed a satisfactory result.
