Annotation: This article analyzes the Eastern and Western Renaissance from the perspectives of harmony and divergence. Using methods such as analysis–synthesis, induction–deduction, and comparative-historical approaches, the study examines the process of formation of cultural, political, economic, and technological relations between the two civilizations. It explores how the scientific legacy of Eastern Renaissance thinkers—such as al-Farabi, Ibn Sina (Avicenna), and al-Biruni—influenced the Western Renaissance, and critically assesses the Eurocentric and limited interpretations of European scholars regarding this process. The article also discusses the contemporary significance of Renaissance ideas in a global context, with particular attention to a new stage of “digital renaissance” associated with digital culture and technological development. In writing this article, methods of analysis–synthesis, induction–deduction, comparative analysis, historical-systematic, and contextual analysis were employed. Through these methods, similarities and differences between the Eastern and Western Renaissance were scientifically examined on the basis of primary and secondary sources, and general conclusions were formulated.
