Annotation: The article provides scientific substantiation of the system and mechanisms of financial management in the field of sports. The state of physical education and sports directly depends on the efficiency of the organizational and economic system used, including the strategy for financing development, forming a positive image of sports facilities and marketing sports services. State funds are allocated in the field of physical education and sports services where state participation is necessary, including children's sports, mass sports, adaptation programs. Physical education and other types of sports activities are carried out on a commercial basis and are indirectly regulated by the state. The article analyzes financial management systems and their elements, tools and the extent to which they contribute to the development of sports.
