Annotation: This article highlights the important role of environmental education and upbringing in the teaching of natural sciences (biology, chemistry, physics, geography, etc.) in the modern education system. Against the background of global environmental problems, including climate change, loss of biodiversity, resource depletion and pollution, environmental education aims to develop a responsible attitude towards the environment, principles of sustainable development and problem-solving skills in students. The article analyzes the main importance of environmental education, methods of integration into natural sciences (practical experiments, digital simulations, open lessons, interdisciplinary approach), advantages (personal and social development, global contribution), consequences, and the discussion section analyzes existing problems (teacher training, lack of resources). The conclusion emphasizes the need to prepare the future generation for environmental conservation by strengthening environmental education. The article is written in accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the education system of Uzbekistan, and proposes to improve the quality of education and contribute to national development.
