Annotation: In this article current shortcomings and problems in the development of state and non-state educational services in the Surkhandarya region is described, as well as research to eliminate them. Decisions and conclusions based on the results of studying marketing activities in the field of education in the developed countries of the world, especially in the field of improving the level of service for the population of state and non-state educational centers in the region, i.e. adaptation to world standards. Researchs in this area are discussed. Decisions in the field of education and their current results, including the creation in recent years of a new system of total management and promotion of the higher education system. If several strategies of internationally recognized institutions are applied to educational institutions operating in the region, the region's institutions can be expected to improve their ranking significantly. In this regard, it should be noted that in recent years, higher education institutions have gradually begun to switch to a credit module in accordance with international standards, and the article briefly discusses such changes.
