Annotation: This article discusses the emergence of the Talimarjan reservoir in the Kashkadarya region and its significance in the regional irrigation system. The role of the reservoir in agriculture, including cotton growing, was also discussed. In the 60-70s of the XX century, along with the further development of agriculture and the creation of irrigation systems in the region, such a large reservoir was created in the region.
