Annotation: This article examines current trends in the development of investment legislation in the Republic of Uzbekistan in the context of ensuring technological growth of the national economy. It is argued that, amid the digital transformation of the global economy, the traditional model of attracting foreign investment, focused primarily on quantitatively increasing capital, is gradually losing its effectiveness. The need to develop a legal mechanism to stimulate technology-oriented investments, accompanied by technology transfer, the creation of research centers, the development of human capital, and the localization of innovative production is becoming paramount. Based on an analysis of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Investments and Investment Activities," civil legislation, legislation on public-private partnerships, special economic zones, and strategic government documents, existing issues in the legal regulation of investment activities are identified. The author proposes a concept for the transition from a model of stimulating capital-intensive investments to a model of stimulating technological investments as an independent object of state investment policy.
