Annotation: Gender linguistics is one of the most relevant and interesting areas of linguistics that explores the relationship between language and gender. The main subject of the study of gender linguistics is the analysis of gender aspects of language, the identification of gender stereotypes and the study of the influence of language on social problems associated with gender inequalities. In this work we will consider the basic concepts and theoretical approaches in gender linguistics, gender aspects of language, gender stereotypes in language and the connection of gender linguistics with social problems.
