Annotation: With the introduction of information and communication technologies (ICT) and multimedia documents and the transition to ICT-mediated practices, the methodology for using written language in all areas has changed. Therefore, the traditional concept of literacy in relation to reading and writing is “new types of texts” (e-mail messages, electronic maps and formulas, spreadsheets, Power Point presentations, various web pages, etc.) – the placement of texts in electronic form. which gave them the ability to quickly modify and interpret. The wide availability of electronic texts, the constant development of ICTs and their convenience have led to their popularity and a change in the initial negative views. This new type of electronic text included such features as greater presence of audiovisual elements, non-linear arrangement of information, speed of the process, and the dependence of their changes on the imitative capabilities of computers and computer networks. Electronic “multimedia” and multimodal texts, as an important part of written speech practice at home, in public places and especially in classrooms/audiences, are not only words, but also audiovisual resources from which texts presented in electronic and material media can be formed - figure, color includes other methods of semiotic communication such as backgrounds, icons, and sounds. When it comes to the technology of (written) language, it is natural to wonder what it consists of.
