Annotation: In this article we try to give some information about types of transferring the meaning in Uzbek folk riddles, the structural semantic aspects and the style of riddles. The riddles which is one of the most concise and funny genres of folk art, has been recognized as one of the main tools for determining wisdom, ingenuity, and increasing people’s vigilance in all nations since time immemorial. They are one of the elements that play an important role in human development.
