Annotation: In this article, the interpretation of the image of the child in the culture of the Turkish people, its role in proverbs is analyzed through the analysis of metaphors. In this, the manifestation of this concept in the folk language and culture through specific linguistic means and its appearance with the help of various metaphors is analyzed.
