TURKISTON ASSR TARIXIY GEOGRAFIYASI

Annotation: This article analyzes the historical and geographical landscape of territorial, political, administrative, and economic changes that occurred during the formation and development of the Turkestan ASSR. Using archival documents, cartographic materials, and historical sources, it examines the processes of defining the republic's borders, the influence of national-territorial policies, the transformation of administrative divisions, population distribution, and the reorganization of economic regions from 1918 to 1924. This material allows us to uncover the formation of the political and geographical landscape of the Turkestan ASSR and present key territorial processes of the early stage of Soviet state-building in Central Asia.
