Annotation: The article describes the history of tectonic development of the Turan plate region. It also shows the development in the geosynclinal (foundation formation period) and platform (sedimentary layer formation period) stages. The oil and gas content of the Turan plate, including the oil and gas field of the Bukhara-Khiva oil and gas region, the potential oil and gas content of the Tayura fields are given.
