Annotation: This article describes the role and significance of demonstration experiments in teaching the section of mechanics of the subject "Physics" in a secondary school. When studying a phenomenon through demonstration experiments, knowledge of its quantitative aspects is necessarily carried out along with the definition of quantitative relations that characterize this phenomenon. Therefore, educational demonstration experiments are of particular importance in the formation of physical theories and concepts, which allow determining quantitative relationships between physical quantities in the form of mathematical equations, functions, etc.
