Annotation: This article examines the influence of Arabic on Spanish, a key aspect of the cultural and linguistic exchange that occurred as a result of the centuries-long Arab presence in the Iberian Peninsula. Beginning in the 8th century, this period of extensive contact had a significant impact on lexical composition and phonetics. The article focuses on the quantitative and qualitative analysis of Arabisms integrated into the Spanish language, highlighting the areas of vocabulary that were most influenced: architecture, mathematics, astronomy, and everyday life.
