Annotation: The article analyzes the possibilities of integrating advanced foreign experience into the development of scientific research activities of students in Uzbekistan. The main approaches and strategies of leading countries in the field of higher education and science, such as the USA, Germany, Japan, China, Great Britain and the Netherlands, are considered. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the features of the educational system of Uzbekistan, including the potential for its transformation taking into account international practices. The article offers recommendations for adapting foreign methods to the national context to create a favorable environment conducive to the growth of scientific activity and innovative competence of students.
