Annotation: In this article, the social situation in the Khanate of Khiva at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century is scientifically discussed. The socio-political and economic situation of the Khiva khanate in the period in question, taxes and duties, and the condition of the khanate and its inhabitants under the conditions of the Russian Empire's colonization are studied within the scope of the topic.
