Annotation: This thesis analyzes the role of livestock production in the formation of early statehood in the Khorezm oasis based on ethnographic, historical, and archaeological research. The study highlights the significance of animal husbandry in ensuring economic stability, generating surplus products, fostering social stratification, and contributing to the emergence of centralized governance systems. Special attention is given to the impact of livestock breeding on strengthening military and political capacity, as well as on the formation of cultural values and traditions. Based on ethnographic evidence, the research substantiates the close interconnection between pastoral economy and the processes of early state formation in ancient Khorezm.
