Annotation: This article examines important issues related to the study of ancient and early medieval burial sites in Khorezm. Within the framework of the social, political, and religious life of the ancient and early medieval periods, types of burial monuments and their archaeological significance are analyzed. The history of the discovery and study of important burial sites in Khorezm is also described. Based on the results of modern archaeological research, the social and religious aspects of burial monuments are also illuminated. The article also focuses on existing problems in the preservation and restoration of burial monuments and their solutions.
