Annotation: The article aims to improve national legislation and existing practices by examining the specifics of divorce cases in foreign countries. In particular, carried out the analysis of the peculiarities and procedures of divorce in the Republic of Uzbekistan and in the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, Germany and Belarus, the general and different aspects of the relationship with divorce by legal comparison. In terms of Methods such as system-functional, formal-logical, comparative-legal analysis were used in the research. The relevance of the study is that family and marriage relationships have always been at the center of every state’s policy. The study provides suggestions and conclusions on the introduction of effective aspects of the procedure and legislation of divorce in the above-mentioned foreign countries into national legislation, as well as on the improvement of practice. On the basis of these proposals and conclusions, the regulation of divorce relations in the Republic of Uzbekistan will be improved.
