Annotation: This article analyzes the advanced educational management practices of Japan’s education system. Key focus areas include school autonomy, continuous professional development, the culture of ongoing improvement based on the "kaizen" philosophy, and participatory governance. The study concludes that adapting Japanese experience to the local context in Uzbekistan can enhance the effectiveness of educational modernization and management.
