Annotation: This article provides a linguocultural analysis of the cultural interpretation of paremiological units related to the field of light industry. Through examples of proverbs and sayings in Uzbek and English languages that involve concepts such as clothing, textiles, tailoring, and craftsmanship, the study highlights each nation's aesthetic views, moral values, gender roles, and socio-cultural perspectives. The article also discusses translation challenges, cultural gaps caused by realia, and the structural-semantic features of paremiological expressions. Finally, it substantiates the theoretical and practical significance of studying light-industry-related proverbs as tools for intercultural communication.
