Annotation: This article analyzes the work carried out to strengthen the ideas of patriotism and national pride in the consciousness of youth, their importance and effectiveness. Literature on the topic was studied, the relevance of the topic was revealed. In order to formulate the concepts of patriotism and national pride in the minds of young people, the work carried out in the educational system, in the family, in the neighborhood and in the media was studied and analyzed. Also, the shortcomings and problems in this regard were identified and recommendations for their elimination were developed.
