Annotation: This article analyzes the methodology of developing written skills in the Japanese language using modern pedagogical technologies. The study highlights linguistic and cultural characteristics of Japanese writing and examines the role of interactive, media, and digital technologies in enhancing written communicative competence. The methodological significance of competency-based and communicative approaches is also discussed.
