Annotation: This article analyzes the activity of the first medical facilities of the modern type in Turkestan at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. They are mainly established in large cities of the country and they also provide medical services to the local population. In addition, the first hospitals for the treatment of the local population were also opened during this period.
