Annotation: This article carried out a comparative analysis of ecocentric ideas in modern science. The concept of ecocentrism has been defined as a new ecological worldview. The basic worldviews of ecocentrism were developed, which were an alternative to the worldview of anthropocentrism and naturecentrism. The formation of epistemological attitudes of ecocentrism is examined using the example of ecological thinking, that is, thinking in which logic and emotions are dialectically synthesized in the study of the relationship between society and nature.
