Annotation: This article is devoted to the study of gender stereotypes expressed through Uzbek folk songs and dances. It analyzes how traditional music and dance art reflect individuals’ social roles, gender roles, and related cultural perceptions. The research findings show that many examples of folk songs and dances depict male and female images in traditional and stereotypical forms, which indicates the need for a deeper understanding of gender issues and their reconsideration in modern society. The article contributes not only to the study of cultural heritage but also to the promotion of gender equality and the identification of stereotypes existing in culture.
