Annotation: This article examines the essence of the phenomenon of "digitalization", its role in the construction of social reality, the contradictory nature of its influence on the interaction between man and society. In the modern environment, digital technologies act as intermediaries in the network of social relations, uniting states, organizations and man into a complex technological structure. The emerging technological paradigm transforms the landscape of human corporeality, everyday existence and creativity, the structure of social reality. The transition to the Internet of Things and self-improvement practices poses a serious challenge to anthropological methods of defining the essence and boundaries of human existence. By introducing digital technologies into everyday life, a person expands and modifies the range of their applicability. This process unfolds through the accumulation and dissemination of knowledge, social experience, while overcoming technological alienation.
