Annotation: Higher educational institutions in the Republic of Tajikistan are undergoing modernization and are experiencing the same difficulties as educational institutions in many post-Soviet countries. The number of specialties and narrow specializations is expanding, new, not quite necessary professions appear, a kind of "situational revision" takes place, taking into account the ill-conceived strategy of training new specialists in the domestic and international labor market.
