Annotation: The article provides recommendations on the formation of a caring attitude towards nature in mentally retarded children of primary school age. The purpose of the article is to analyze and describe the results of the stages of identification, formation and control of the experiment, revealing the experimental results of children who studied in a special (corrective) general education boarding school. Based on the author's analysis, the work carried out on the formation of a loving attitude among schoolchildren of younger age shows its results.
