Annotation: This article analyzes the nature of the relationship between humans and nature in the context of an increasingly complex and globalized environmental situation, as well as the maintenance of ecological balance. Alienation in the relationship between humans and nature leads to the destruction of ontological values. This alienation and contradiction primarily manifests itself in thinking and perception. When analyzing the causes of this contradiction, people invariably note the expansion of the human worldview and the emergence of anthropocentrism. From this perspective, the affirmation of spiritual and moral norms in the process of human development, as well as the laws of natural development, are of paramount importance.
