Annotation: The reactivity and relative activity of amines in the cyclization reactions of o-substituted aromatic amines with urea, thiourea, acetic and benzoic acid were determined. As a result, the synthesis of benzazolin-2-ones, benzazolin-2-thiones and 2-alkylbenzazoles was carried out.
